WHAT MAKES OUR DACHSHUND PUPPIES EXCEPTIONAL

1. Your puppy will have their dew claws removed.
2. Your puppy will have been dewormed appropriately, and documentation will be provided.
3. Your puppy will not leave without having a veterinary exam and first vaccinations; documentation will be provided. This includes Bordetella(kennel cough) and the DHPP combo (Distemper, Adenovirus, Parvovirus, and Parainfluenza.) Please be aware that some breeders give their own vaccines or do not vaccinate; many sell puppies that a veterinarian has never examined.
4. Your puppy will be micro-chipped at no extra cost; documentation will be provided. A microchip stays with your puppy for life, connecting to a database with your contact info and helping to get your puppy back to you if they are ever lost. A microchip also doubles as proof of ownership.
5. Your puppy will leave with copies of their parents’ complete AKC backgrounds and all genetic disease testing clearance. AKC tracks the lineage of registered dogs, helping conscientious breeders avoid inbreeding and verify offspring of championship dogs.
6. Your puppy can be registered with AKC, if you wish, upon completion of spaying or neutering. We feel strongly about supporting AKC. Registering your puppy allows AKC to fund kennel inspections, canine health research, list dog recovery, and search and rescue support.
7. Your puppy will be pre-loved and well socialized, with weekly pircutres and videos, so that you may watch your puppy grow!

CAN I MAKE A VISIST

To ensure the health and safety of our puppies, we don’t allow visits. However, we’re happy to arrange a video call so you can see your puppy in their home environment. This way, you can meet your puppy virtually and ask any questions you may have.

Our mission is to bring happy, healthy dachie to loving families while combating unethical breeding practices that harm our cherished breed.

DO WE HAVE PUPPIES IN EUROPE AND UNITED KNGDOM

Yes, we have puppies available in the europe and united kingdom! While many of our dachshund are born and raised in usa, we also have breeders based in Europe and the UK. They are part of the Breeder Family, following our high standards and raising puppies from the same excellent European bloodlines. This means that families in the USA can easily welcome a puppy into their home, whether by picking them up at a nearby location or having them delivered directly to their home.

We have worked very hard to obtain some of the best lineages of Dachshunds available, nationally and internationally. We are very grateful to all the breeders who have entrusted us with all their hard work. We don’t claim that our puppies will show potential or have superpowers because of their ancestors’ championship lineage, but what we do guarantee is this: we have done our homework with lineage, genetics, and temperament to produce for you the most wonderful baby Dachshund ever!

Ethicial breeding

We abide by the Code of Ethics for the Dachshund Club of America and the National Miniature Dachshund Club. All litters are bred with the intent of producing a better Dachshund, not just to create more puppies. Our emphasis is on quality, not quantity. Here at Daisy-Hill, there is a paper trail provided for every dog and puppy and we never breed an unregistered dog, as background or pedigree can’t be proven without registration. We do not sell our precious babies to pet stores, pet brokers, or anyone else with resale in mind. We can only rest easy when assured that our puppies are going to wonderful homes.

Elevating dachshunds lineages with integrity

All breedings are done with one thought in mind, Bettering the Breed, not just produce puppies. Our emphasis is on Quality, NOT Quantity! Here at Daisy-Hill, there is a paper trail provided for every Dog/Puppy. We NEVER breed an unregistered dog (background or pedigree cannot be proven) or a dog without 3 to 4 Major Genetic Tests done (please see Doxie Testing Page for details). We DO NOT SELL our precious babies to Pet Stores, Pet Brokers and anyone else with resale in mind.
